Prompt response: I went to Philmost which is a scout outing where you hike across a mountain range in New Mexico, I went on a 14 day trek and felt connected to nature many different times but one specific moment that stands out to me is when after me and my group hiked up the final mountain called the Tooth of Time our campsite had a area kind of off to the side that was open and you could see all around the entire area of Philmont for miles. I remember waking up the next morning before the sun had really risen and just going to that spot and sitting looking out at the mountains, listening to the birds and the wind, feeling the grass and dirt on my hands made me feel connected to the mountain and nature.

Summary: We took notes in Native American lit and went over Vocab lesson 1.

Refection: I learned about the different definitions of myths, religion, and urban legends. I also learned about what makes those three things different
