Miss Emily’s house once represented pride and tradition, but over time it became a symbol of decay and isolation. Describe a place that holds deep memories for you—positive or negative—and explain how it reflects part of who you are or how you’ve changed over time.

Prompt Response: A place that holds deep memories for me is my houses backyard. We used to have this giant trampoline in our backyard that me and my brothers (and sometimes friends) would jump around, play in, or just hangout. When I think back to my very young days I used to think that the trampoline was huge because i was smaller but in recent years with my brothers becoming way older and the trampoline falling apart it doesn't seem as big anymore. I have mostly positive memories of the trampoline but i do have the occasional bad memory like for example when i nearly fell face first off the side of the trampoline.

Summary: We read A Rose for Emily and answered questions about the text

Reflection: I learned more about analyzing short stories
