Prompt Response: I spent most of my time over the break simply relaxing in my room, usually watching a show or movie. I had to participate in a few Musical Theatre rehearsals on the weekends and on Monday. On the initial Saturday i went to the mall with one of my friends for a few hours. I spent most of the time alone at my house due to my family, namely my dad and brother, being out of town and my mom busy with work which resulted in me cleaning my house out off sheer boredom. Overall it was very nice to have a off week where I was able to kinda just do nothing the entire time.

Summary: We analyzed a poem and identified the metaphors and similes in the poem

Reflection: I learned how to spot metaphors and similes and how to interpret them based off the my knowledge of the author
