Analyzing Obama's speech allowed me to use my abilities of looking deep into the meanings of texts and documents and allowed me to further my abilities for the future American texts I will analyze.

In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Prompt Response:  Im sure this is a pretty common feeling but for the first month or two of highschool I felt like a big interloper in lakeside. I left 8th grade halfway through the year so I separated from my normal friends for a few months and when I finally came back to normal public school and my old friends I didn't see all of them and for the first semester of freshman year I literally ate lunch completely alone not talking to anyone. I eventually made new friends and reconnected with my middle school friends but in the time before that I felt really alone and like an intruder in public school. Prompt Response:  first word I think I will find myself using is Amoral because a. Ive already used it many times in both writing and speaking and b. I really like writing about human and animal physiology and amoral is used a lot in those topics. second word I will find myself using is affinity as I find it a better way to describe mildly liking or loving something  without just saying "like" or 'love".  And finally I think I'll find myself using amorphous because its commonly used in a lot of horror writing and descriptions which is my favorite genre of any type of content and its usage allows for a lot of interpretation from readers.
