Prompt Response: A relationship that I have where i feel truly understood is a friendship ive had since freshman year. We've been consistent friends over the past 3 years and we both understand each other and respect each other in a way ive never had with someone else. Chris and Carine know that they understand one another and thats how i feel with that specific friend.

Summary: We read chapter 13 and answered questions about it.

Reflection: I learned more about Carine McCandless and her grief experience after the death of her brother

Reflect on a time when you paused to appreciate the beauty of nature, much like the speaker in “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” Where were you, what did you notice, and how did that moment of stillness make you feel or change your perspective?

Prompt Response:   I went to Philmont which is a scout outing where you hike across a mountain range in New Mexico, I went on a 14 day trek and felt connected to nature many different times but one specific moment that stands out to me is when after me and my group hiked up the final mountain called the Tooth of Time our campsite had a area kind of off to the side that was open and you could see all around the entire area of Philmont for miles. I remember waking up the next morning before the sun had really risen and just going to that spot and sitting looking out at the mountains, listening to the birds and the wind, feeling the grass and dirt on my hands made me feel connected to the mountain and nature. Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

Prompt Response:  There are many times in my life where I was judged unfairly, but the most common and honestly aggravating is when I'm judged and people make assumptions about me for being the youngest child in my family, its especially common in my family where they just think that I'm immature or useless just because I'm the youngest. Others who aren't even in my family will just assume that I'm the favorite child of my parents 3 children just because I'm the youngest or that I'm spoiled or am a brat simply for being born after my brothers.
