  Prompt Response:  The topic that challenged me the most was doubt or criticism as i often find it hard to remember doubts and critics that others have had for me over the years, i tend to ignore those negative impacts on my life. I worked through the challenge by digging into my brain for some criticism i can remeber. Prompt Response:  I thoroughly enjoyed writing similes and metaphors about myself and found it nice to be able to really try and look into myself in order to write the metaphors and similes. I learned that with my knowledge of animals i was able to craft similes and metaphors about myself by comparing myself to different animals Summary: We created similes and metaphors about ourselves Reflection:  I learned more about creating similes and metaphors

Prompt Response:  I spent most of my time over the break simply relaxing in my room, usually watching a show or movie. I had to participate in a few Musical Theatre rehearsals on the weekends and on Monday. On the initial Saturday i went to the mall with one of my friends for a few hours. I spent most of the time alone at my house due to my family, namely my dad and brother, being out of town and my mom busy with work which resulted in me cleaning my house out off sheer boredom. Overall it was very nice to have a off week where I was able to kinda just do nothing the entire time. Summary: We analyzed a poem and identified the metaphors and similes in the poem Reflection:  I learned how to spot metaphors and similes and how to interpret them based off the my knowledge of the author

Prompt Response:  This experience did make me feel more confident in my skills as a writer and i do feel more confident in my ability in analyzing more American literature. Analyzing Obama's speech allowed me to use my abilities of looking deep into the meanings of texts and documents and allowed me to further my abilities for the future American texts I will analyze.   Prompt Response:  Studying the general outline of how to both write and look at rhetorical essays really helped me with my essay. Being able to identify the different parts allowed me to fully understand what the point of the essay i was reading was and how to convey my own points.   Prompt Response:  a baked good, a book, jewelry. I love making baked goods and i love giving those goods to the people i love and appreciate, either giving someone a book or reading a book with someone makes me feel closer to them, and giving or wearing a peice of jewelry is a little reminder about the one who gave it to u Summary: we wrote a little poem about someone we love Reflection:  we discussed college things so I learned more about college and what majors i should take lol

Prompt Response:  I moment in my life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story was when I helped my friend create a home brew dnd campaign which has become one of my favorite hobbies over the past few years.
